11 days to get all finished for MSA!! Yea so every year before MSA I usually do a few upgrades to the car. Well this year I got a bad bug of "whileiminthereites", HAHA. SO the car is all tore aport, im trying to make and fabricate lots of peices, still have alot of work to do yet and Im getting kinda frusterated. Car is on jackstands, needs LOTS af allignment issues taken care of (now everythings adjustable, but still needs to be aligned). I pretty much get no help right now, McAdam is up in fargo trying to get his car done, My buddy andy is trying to get his car done, and my dad is busy with other personal matters, and the fiancee wants lots of time spent with her, AHHHHHHHH. So how am I gonna get this all done? I dunno, but I see lots of LATE nights in the next 1.5 weeks. I wish all those people I help ALL year long on there projects, would come around and help me out when I need it. Oh well, I guess I know where I stand in that respect. Ill get it done, I always do, but just kinda frusterated right now, PLUS I have TWO MN47 complete ported heads and cam installs to get done this week!! Ok, im done venting, I know, no one cares, but I just had to get some pressure off my chest, ha!

There's a reason you have to 'help' them---are you SURE you want that kind of 'help' now, in a pinch?
Simply cut off the assistance a month before the event, and do your OWN thing and nobody elses---that is the only way I get anything done every year. Everything gets dropped and I do it for ME alone during that time.
Usually finish quickly, and then can render aid at the lastsecond to the "walking wounded" that appear in the days surrounding MSA...
(Or During...muahahahahaha!)

Ill be down there on friday or saturday. We'll get it done. both of our cars. Remeber when we had to fix your clutch because of the clutch cover bolts bottoming out? that only took us, what? 3 hours?
Ive got some stuff to do on my car and you have some stuff to do on your car, together, we'll make one helluva showing at MSA.
oh yeah, I already told 1 fast z, but I actually got my 300ZXT diff in the mail and it IS a clutch type LSD and it seems to be in good working order! now all I have to do is swap the carrier into the Infiniti M30 rear end and put all that crap (including CV axels!) into my car! The M30 trailing arms are a DIRECT bolt in for the 280ZX units.; only thing that is different is the E-brake cable, but it can be modified to fit. that and they are set up for I think +25mm wheels!
Then, the S13 coilovers and big brakes, then the intake/header/head. While Im doing my MN47, Ill help you out with yours......
Like I said, we'll get it done!

same here i have track day on zadvoort next sunday .. i just swapped in teh new engine put the intermediates on and what not... still need to bleed the brakes on saturday !

Yea made some progress today, its just with family problems, and full time job, and a second job (z car buisness) I just dont have as much time as I need. But Ill get it done, got the Nismo header fitted today, and the 2, 2.5" pipes ducted into the 3" single. Got the throttle return system on my ITB setup worked out, and also go the New guages installed in the dash. I am waiting on a left hand tap to finish my tie rod extensions (dont ask!! GRRRRRRR) So once I get my 14x1.5 LH tap in the car can then go back on the ground. Then set the ride height, then alignment time, AHHHH. But Ill get it. Still have to paint the front air dam, and fender as well, I hope to be doing that this weekend. Thanks Robert, it means alot for you offering, I will let you know if I get in big bind, as I know you can be good help. You ever get that turbo car driving? What did you do about the CHTS?
Oh and McAdam, Heck yea you better get down here and help, but I see you have a bad case of McAdamides. LOL.

I am going to see alot of late nights in the next couple weeks when i get my motor back from the shop. And i dont have to many people to help me, especially since all of my friends are clueless and my dad is a lazy ass. But it is nice just to have someone help you to get a tool for you yada yada.

my car went in the body shop today,. should be done sometime tomorrow. Im getting my interior panels and back hatch area carpet re-done tonight and my high back seats are getting re-upholstered in MicroFibre tomorrow!

I feel your pain. I have to pull a stub axle & replace a stud. need to replace a stud in the front too. Gotta figure out what happend to my DB-37 cable. (MS isnt getting power all of the sudden) finishish tuning MS. Get an alignment, bleed the brakes, oil change, valve adjustment & probly buy new tires .................................................................................................. ................................................................................................................................................I'll make it.

The stock length studs WILL COME OUT WITHOUT REMOVING THE STUB AXLE!
Look at my cardomain page, and I have a process where I installed long studs without pulling the stubaxles. Not for everyone, but for sure the stub axles DO NOT have to come out for install or remove STOCK SIZED studs!

Thats good to know. I've never replaced a stud on the Z but I have had to pull the stub before, hopefully never again.
