in the market for a new car and considering a z33. test drove one, but not a fan...yet. does it grow on you like a z32 or is it a love it or hate it like a z31. i love my z31!

get the z32. i love z31's to death, but more parts for the z32.

lexan, straight pipes that dump in front of the rear wheels( too much of a pain to make them run out the back) ect. i had a ' dummy' muffler hanging, but it was quite noticeable that it was a fake at night....

get another Z31 then. I love a Z31 also.

As the owner of several Z's. I can say that is a very personal decision. I would pick the z33, since it is new and still reliable and easy to drive. However if you a machanically inclined, I would pick whichever model of style you like the most. You can always do things that make them faster. Of the first gen Z's I would find the earliest 240 with the least rust that you can afford. Put a higher compression engine, lower it, upgrade the brakes and you will have a ride that is a BLAST to drive. If your looking for more comfort go for the turbo 280zx. But the cars you are comparing are all heavy cars. The z31 and z32 have what I call "piggish" suspension. The 350 handle ALOT better and there is a bigger market on parts.
Just pick the one you want, you really can't go wrong with any of them
