Answer:

Watched it in the Hotel, then went over and watched Liverpool get Knackered but good by Arsenal.
Later tonight (three minutes to be exact) the A1 Grand Prix from California is coming on the Sky Network here in the UK...
Why is there a race in California and I wasn't informed?

Answer:

Tony - the A1 GP runs a great formula, they have competitive and exciting races at every stop. Watch them as often as you can.
Looks like Renault has the chassis to dominate another year of F1! Kimi has already assumed his rightful place behind Alonso....will Michael at least make it interesting this year?

Answer:

Kimi drove all the way from the back of the field to third, I certainly wouldn't bet against him for the championship, in fact, he's gotta be the favorite.
Also of note, fast race lap was set by rookie Nico Rosberg (son of Keke), in his first F1 race. He was hit at the first corner, brought it in and the car was garaged momentarily, then brought back out and he managed to finish 7th. I think we'll be seeing more of this kid...
Answer:

Kimi did very well for the car being nearly rebuilt overnight and Massa had a good recovery after his spin out which nearly took off the front of Alonso's car. Pretty good race I thought. The lower tone of the car was pretty noticable to me,too. Due to the change of engines to a V8 though. Dust haven for a track though.

Answer:

Have it on the DVR - will watch tomorrow as I spent all day today doing my ignition swap.

Answer:

I set my VCR to record this dang race and not sure how long it was going to be I set it for 15 min before the race and to end at 8am. The tape ends and there was 4 laps to go! DAMMIT! Luckily my wife already knew of the results but I had told her NOT to tell me so then I had to go and beg practially to tell me who had won. Not the way I wanted to end my day. :^(

Answer:

That was actually a really fun and interesting race! I agree, Nico Rosberg should be fun to watch if he's able to keep it up this season.

Answer:

This scott speed guy would not happen to be the son of the man who beat Aryton Senna in the world karting championship, would he?
Answer:

Y'mean my home-state (Mississippi) boy Lake Speed?!
I do not think they are related.
A real shame Lake Speed chose to pursue NASCAR.
For some of us, anyway!
Answer:

I have to say that if Kimi ever gets to start a race from anywhere but the back, everyone is in trouble! It seems like all of last year he would break something in practice that would require a new engine, meaning starting from the back and STILL kicking everyones butt.
Great race.
