2006 Super Aguri Debut
Question:
I think Super Aguri is going to redefine what "tail end of the grid" means in F1. Their initial car is a 4 year old Arrows chassis modified to comply with 2006 regulations. The engine is the 2006 Honda V8. The two drivers are Takuma Sato and Yuji Ide (of Formula Nippon). They are planning to debut their own car at the opening of the European leg of the season. They are taking pride in being a full Japanese team. It really shows with a fully white livery. I think they'll end up more as a secondary Honda team. ...but they are pulling on to the grid, a Formula1 grid. It's like this.....the guy at the fuel races wiping off parts...flunky right? Nope. He's on the side of the rope WITH the car, and you are only allowed to watch. The guy with the rag is not doing so bad. Super Aguri is doing the best they can, and taking advantage of an opportunity. I'd wipe off parts for them anyday. Ken '82ZX n/a 2+2 '02 Sportster XL1200C Answer:
