does anybody know anything about this intake? it was at an international convention in las vegas, and is supposed to be on a turbo 600HP inline engine. they had a link to the international convention and a lot of photos, some s130s with rb engines in them even a z31 like mine with an inline in it! but i really liked the look of the car this intake was on, not like one i have seen before. anybody know any other links or information about it? thanks!

the link won't work for some reason, but the car it was on said "mid night racing" on the windshield and if you search there using that, it shows up. in the gallery for the article it show you the intake. it was a feature car in 7/2000

Well I searched and found the pic but it won't let you enlarge it unless you are a member. Judging from the small pic I want to say I've seen that intake before. It's definetly custom but I'm pretty sure I've seen someone here post pics of their Z and it have that same intake except it wasn't painted red. Honestly there are other intakes that you can get from members here that might be better. Spork and 1 fast Z both make custom intakes for the L series engine. Although since you have a Z31 it wouldn't help you. There are a couple guys I know of over at Z31.com as well as a couple companies that make gutted intakes for the Z31 if you are interested. As for the Z31's with inline 6's, that was common in Japan. Here in the states we only got the V6 but not in Japan. Thats why if you look at some of the Z31's in Japan the hood scoop is more in the middle of the hood rather than on the drivers side.
