i have a 77z, if i leave engine running and let the vehicle roll down a hill at about 10 miles car start to rev up it self . please sombody giveme any idea what cold be the problem.

I believe for someone to help you they will need more information on the car, and you might do better in 70-83 tech, forum

Yes, much more information needed..i.e.what does it do when it's on a level road...what does it do at idle...what does it do when accelerating..etc. As suggested, post this question in the '70-'83 Tech. Forum...

if the hill is really really steep and the cars in gear, i wouldnt be surprised if the engine reved up a little???
