but we out-of-towners lose a whole day's income for the pleasure of driving to Chicago to be (financially violated).
I suspect they'll take one look at my mods and say I've voided my warranty anyway.
Anyone know where I can find a Lotus service manual? HRM charged me $349.95 plus tax just last week. 7,500 mi service. Do it yourself and follow the checklist in your manual. Dave Simkin just said sign the warranty book yourself. I called FMVC today: $390 for 7500 service. Lotus atlanta wanted $550-600 for the 7,500. I happen to stop at Dimmitt in Clearwater and they told me $350 for the same services. I, of course, took it.. Went to check out and was a bit surprised! $280!!! I was there watching as they did most of the services and they were very thorough. Double that for nothing more is fools money.. Too bad I live 800miles from Dimmitt and only 350 miles or so to Lotus Atlanta..
