AC Repair w/ Temp Sensor Relocation
Question:
I just got my car back my dealer with a service maintenance. I told the dealer that the AC was not working well occasionally after 30 or 40 minutes of driving. The airflow would diminish through the vents and what air was coming out was warm. I know AC complaints are rampant on this site. I drove the car for about one and a quarter hours tonight with the AC on and the unit functioned perfectly. The service technician told me they had to relocate the temperature sensor to prevent the condensor from freezing up. The work was done under warranty. I don't really know what this repair means, but it worked tonight in the Florida humidity and heat with no problem. I thought some of you would like to know about it.By the way, I also got the Stage 2 exhaust installed. It really does sound great. I love the way it burbles with downshifting and lifting off the throttle. Answer:
