Highly doubtful. I imagine it's your ITG. Hopefully it'll just go off. Otherwise, check the intake to make certain all the fittings are tight. A loose filter or MAF will trigger the CEL. Good luck tomorrow.
Answer:
after i check to make sure everything is tight and stuff... do i just start the car to see if it comes on? or do i have to disconnect the battery?
Answer:
oh yeah... i also hope taking the car to the dealer for it's first service with the CEL light on won't cause too much trouble... like charging me extra for figuring out what the code is...

Just start the car. The EMU resets every other cycle, so you might have to drive for a bit, shut the car off, wait a minute, restart and then see. I'd have to say, however, that usually something loose on the intake should be pretty obvious. A code reader (OBD II) can diagnose the trouble, reset the light - which, I assume is not blinking - and after two cycles you'll know. If the CEL is blinking, the problem is usually serious and the car should not be driven.

Can't imagine they would charge you at the dealer. The scan tool they use to read your engine stats will spit out the code anyway, and also reset. Dollars to donuts you're running lean...
Answer:
well... i haven't been able to figure out what my CEL issue is... the dealer didn't have a chance to get to it... they finished my service but didn't get to the headlight issue yet... which means another trip to the dealer...

let's see... loan cars so far

1st visit: 2006 Hyundai Sonata
2nd visit: 2006 Honda Accord 4dr
3rd visit: 2006 Ford Taurus
4th visit: ??? coming soon

so back to my CEL... i took another look and i did some tightening on some parts that i felt could have been loose... all the vacuum hoses are sealed like they should be... soooo... i still have no clue... so either sooner or later the light will just go away on its own... or reset the battery and hope it goes away? i just hate having to set up the head unit all over again...
Answer:
yesterday... i started her up... and CEL was gone... i was so excited... now if it'll just stay gone.. =)
