Lotus Stage II for sale
Question:
I have a stage 2 exhaust for sale. It probably has 2500 miles on it. I'll take $450 plus shipping. If you pick it up, you can have it for $400. I'll even help you install it. I really don't want to ship, so local pick up will have priority. I'm in San Diego. pm sent, coming your way soon why selling? and is it the new revised version or the old one? If she doesn't take it I could be interested in picking it up. Quick answers to the PM questions I received. 1. I prefer not to ship. I hate having to pack it and drag it to UPS. Having said that, if no one picks up the exhaust, I guess I'll have to ship it. 2. I bought the car used. I don't know exactly how many miles are on the exhaust. 3. I'll be out of the country Nov 1-20. So, the weekend before Halloween is good. Just let me know a day ahead. 4. Nothing is wrong with the exhaust except the normal drone at 3400-3900 rpm. 5. The only reason for selling, my wife does not like the drone. I tried to convince her that she'll get used to it, but that did not work. 6. The Elise is mainly her car, but do get to have fun with it. I'll get back to you tonight but I'm very interested what are you replacing it with? I have a stage 2 exhaust for sale. Anyway, I sent you a PM AgentX Can someone please confirm whether the diffuser needs to be cut bigger for a Lotus Stage II exhaust? Thanks. supposedly yes, at least from what I've heard. But I guess there is a template that comes with the exhaust normally. The guys at my work think that if it's stock that no adjustments will need to be made. They are researching for me, but I wanted to double check on the board. Hi AX3, Tell your techs that you DO need a template to cut the difusser for the stage 2 exhaust. They should have an e-mail from the factory with this template or some type of book with the template in it. Have you sold it yet? Has someone confirmed whether they're taking it or not? Thanks.
