Price? Will it match the finish/weave of the other pieces?p.s. You know what would be awesome? CF door panels... lighter, much cooler! Thanks! "p.s. You know what would be awesome? I read somewhere that these save 2.2kg over stock, that's just a hair under 5 lbs. savings.. not too bad! Ya plus the door panels cost $200 to ship over from the UK. Otherwise they are a great price at about $420. Hopefully, someone might make them here. As for the door sills, I'll probably pick up a pair if reasonably priced. I wonder how door sills in CF would go with the interior as the rest of the dash they attach to is plastic, it may look odd. The other CF parts out now replace the gray plastic that does not have any place. I think door panels would be even better than sills especially b/c sills have more wear and tear from people getting in and out. I would think they would need extra an extra coat of clearcoat. Door panels or door panel inserts (the large black piece not the teardrop that has window controls) would be really nice although likely more expensive. I agree. Ya the sills might look a little odd because of the portion of the vent/start putton panel that they are in line with. I'd still get them though and probably put a sheet of 3M on them. I originally had ditched the idea of door sills because of how messed up I had seen the autoshow ones. However, after about 11K miles on the car, there aren't any scratches on them (granted they are tougher then CF) so I think I'll go for them. I'd rather get the doors before the sills though. Oh well, I waited 8 months for the Elise...what's a few more weeks for this They have yet to respond to my PM as well. I just wish they would update us...I too have no problem waiting its the lack of contact that can be concerning to some people. Why don't you guys call them? They might be busy and not checking e-mails or this forum From their web page, contact us page: The Shop Indy 701 Girls School Rd. Suite D Indianapolis, IN 46231 Phone: 317 484 2990 Fax: 317 484 2991 I did call them......spoke to one of the employees who said some had shipped and he would check my order status and call me right back......I had given him my name & cell #. That was Wednesday......no call back. Very unprofessional. What is also unprofessional is charging for the item on your card when you place the order......not when shipped. Especially when they don't ship when they say they are going to. Shop Indy...you may want to respond on this thread......you can't be that busy that you can't respond to anybody. Either they are using an express post method (like fedex or ups) or they are making some $$ on the shipping... it's CF for god's sake! It's not "LEAD door panels" Has anybody talked to them about the shipping?? Hello ! Did you check this site: http://www.roadster-concept.de/ That guy has a lot of CF-stuff, and does new parts on demand. Don´t know about the shipping rates but the prices come close to others. It's not "LEAD door panels" Has anybody talked to them about the shipping?? I asked them about using a cheaper method but they said that in their experience, they have found that the cheaper (regular mail) breaks items. Also, I think they said that since the panels are so large, they are charged for their size rather than weight. It is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I just checked my credit card statement and noticed that they charged me $220, yet I have yet to hear back from them regarding shipping etc. They are also figuring on $20 for ground shipping for such a small item which seems awful expensive. The item was supposed to ship around Thanksgiving according to them. They charged my card on the 17th of November. It is December 4th and no info if the item shipped. How many people has this happened to? How many people has this happened to? My card was charged 2 weeks ago for $220. I'm one day by ground UPS from Indy, so that's less than $4. No return phone calls now, so I'll be in touch with Amex. My card was charged 2 weeks ago for $220. I'm one day by ground UPS from Indy, so that's less than $4. I am not defending the shop indy guys however I'd like to point out that nothing to ship via UPS is $4, regardless of whether it was the next house over from the distribution center... unless you are a major UPS corporate acct holder... I want to see these sill covers... but it looks like nobody's going to see them at this rate! Good luck...
