i own a Z too... wouldn't trade for vette but thats just my taste.... not saying they don't look good... b/c they do... i saw one take a 90 degree turn going faster than the speed limit (40) and stay as flat as a roadkill squirel.... very nice.... although i try not to run over squirels... i was hit by a car before it sucks..... also watched a squirel geet run over on the tail end and crawl to death.... not funny....

me? i didn't compare anything... but if you do in spite of all our biases vette will be on top in terms of performance IMO although i don't know specifics it seems like the handling will be the same though. but like we all argue it's a lot more expensive than a Z.

Come on now, let's at least try to think straight here.

You are right as far as the 350Z really shouldn't be compared to a Vette. The Vette is in another/higher league.

You'll find that some people like to compare them because the 300Zs were in competition to the Vettes and were compared to them on many occasions. So it's only natural for them to think that the newest Z should be compared to the newest Vette but fail to realize while the Vettes were still taking steps up (price, performance, ect) Nissan actually took a step down.

This has already been talked about before.
