Sold my 78 Vette in august that I had bought new . Had 51,000 on it. Bought a 04 white touring z after test driving new vette, rx8 and crossfire. I am an old geezer who has always driven sports cars. Long story short...my first car was a 1953 xk120 Jag.Over the years have had mgtd,mga,mgb. tr6,tr4a, fiat scorpian and 2 original mini's plus two vette's. Used to do a lot of Autocross and Sports car racing..They dont do that in my neck of the woods anymore..the Z would blow them all away with its torque!
I dont think I have ever driven a better road car than the Z. As my grandson says Z's Rule!!

I agree whole heartedly with your sentiments. And I've owned or driven about every kind of sports car you can name except Ferrari and Lamborghini. I love my 04 redline enthusiast 350 Z more every day. The very first time I test drove a 350Z, I just fell in love with the handling. Takes no time to sort things out or get used to. Love at first sight. It just feels right to me. Very forgiving if you misjudge a curve or have to tighten your line because of a decreasing radius curve. Good torque coming out the other side. Damn good car for the money. I find the ride very comfortable and compliant for a true sports car. That's important for me cause mine is a daily driver. I picked mine up last March and I love it more today than the first week I had it. Like beautiful women with a friendly smile, the car just grows on you more and more. My Z, yeah, she's a keeper.

We love out Z's because we can afford them! And they are sweet all around, But I really want an Aston Martin.



Got my Z in August of '02 and still can't wait to drive it every day! I don't care if it's in traffic or flying down a near-empty freeway or pushing it around corners, this car is just plain fun to drive! Add the fact that I think it looks awesome and it's been completely trouble free (minus the new tires Nissan provided me in August) and I have to say I got more than my moneysworth.

I got my Z in August 02 as well and like you I still love it. I too have had one set of replacement front tires at 9,000 miles and may need another set soon.

Mine is a Pikes Peak White Enthusiast. Currently at 17,500 miles, vin # 100392.

It's good to see a pre-order person who is still very happy.



I also got my Redline Touring 6 speed in Aug. '02 and love it. I've had feathering twice, grease marks, bose amp, window motor, tkingling sunvisor and a few other things but still love to drive it and I do a lot since its my daily, only driver.
