15"/16" Gunmetal CE28Ns on Arctic Silver
Question:
Great post There aren't spacers involved, are there? Also, any idea if these wheels are available in 16"X7" & 17"X8" with the right offset and bolt spacing? Finally, any idea of the weight compared to LSS or RAC Answer:

Finally, any idea of the weight compared to LSS or RAC No spacers are required. As far as I can see, the correct offset on 16/17's for these wheels is not offered. As he mentioned, the weights of these CE28N's are 9.1lbs/12.9lbs, LSS are 13.25lbs/15.15lbs , and RAC's are 11.5lbs/13.4lbs. http://www.sector111.com/references/...t_comparisons/ Answer:
No spacers. It does not appear that they have 17" that fit our car:http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/...odelName=CE28N Answer:

Maybe acceptable? Please set me straight. Answer:

Maybe acceptable? Please set me straight. 17x7.5 +33 or +43 should work for the rear. For the front, even with +33, the spokes might not clear the caliper. It's really hard to say for sure unless you have the wheel to test fit. Answer:
Now I think about it, 17x7.5 +33 may work in the front. It's 1" wider than stock, so it sticks out about 12 mm, plus 2 mm (stock offset is +31), outward, which should have a better spoke clearance. Then again, I'm not sure if 7.5" is too wide. It might hit the inside of the wheel well when the steering wheel is turned all the way.
Answer:
From the same sheet, it looks like there's a 16X7 +33. That's only 2mm more than stock. Answer:
From the same sheet, it looks like there's a 16X7 +33. That's only 2mm more than stock. My 15x7's (+28 mm offset) spokes have less than 5 mm of clearance between them and the caliper. Then again, it is a 16", not a 15", so the shape of the spokes might be different since they are longer. Again, you'd need to test fit the rim to know for sure. You can always run with spacers. Just so you guys know that I've found some rubbing on the rear against the handbrake line. Only the right side rubbed 'cause the handbrake line hangs a little lower than the left. Left side seems OK.

Wow! From the offset of the wheels and tire size, it should have more clearance on the inside on the wheel than factory LSS wheel setup. Would it be possible to check out your car in person? I m local in LA, I am planning to get the exact same wheel setup as you have. Thanks, Answer:
Don't forget that, with the 16" rim, the inner part of the rim is 0.5" closer to all the suspension components. That being said, there's still plenty of room. My problem might just be an isolated case 'cause the right handbrake line hangs down too low. As I mentioned, no problem on the left side.

Also, while changing the air filter yesterday, I found out the left rear tire (245/45) rubs on the wheel liner on the inside a little bit. Answer:

Given my ride height glad I went with the 225/50's Answer:
BTW, 16x8 with 35 mm offset might be a little too high. I think 30 - 32 mm would fit just fine.
