I just got new rear tires on my Elise that I purchased a year ago. In cleaning the wheels prior to getting new tires noticed that there were markings where weights had been. This is an Elise I purchased new from Desert European in Rancho Mirage, CA. The markings are located close to where the weights are but would they have rebalanced the tires and why?

Anybody have any ideas why my wheels would of had weights markings?

Dana my wheels were terribly out of balance from the factory. i would have welcomed a re-balance before my purchase!
