fiberglass crash course? may alam ba kayo?
Question:
Hello mga ers, may alam ba kayong school/establishment na nag ooffer ng basic course for fiberglass for a fee? gusto ko kasi mag aral. thanks Answer: http://www.polymerprod.com/ if i'm not mistaken every month may classes sila for 4 sessions Answer: http://www.polymerprod.com/ if i'm not mistaken every month may classes sila for 4 sessions boss maraming salamat sa link, im checking it out now.panalo talaga dito sa !! Answer: TLRC used to have fiberglass making course. Gusto ko nga rin magtake :) Check out tlrc.gov.ph then click on their "List of Technology Video Courses in VCD format"... You'll find fiberglass under the "Homebusiness Crafts" category. The website says the video is around P700 only :) But they also have the formal training, so you'll have a classroom and classmates and hands-on training. Just look for their schedule printed in newspapers or call them. You'll find their contact information on the website. Also, the video thing gave me an idea. Type in "Fiberglass Making" in youtube, and you'll find some nice videos teaching you how to do it :) Happy learning :) Answer: yun dating lecturer sa TLRC ang lecturer (naka checkered polo) sa polymer products inc. check my youtube clip - this video clip is part of the DVD clip sold at polymer prodt inc. pero kung gusto mo ng hands on, join their lectures. masyadong maraming polymer resins and fiberglass variants to fit ones needs and joining the lecture will give a better understanding for all of these materials....they have two lectures - basic and advance. ideal yung advance kung marunong ka ng magfiberglass. Answer: Ive been trying to figure out how to download youtube videos. Yung mga websites wherein we type in the youtube url and the firefox plug-ins dont seem to work. I dont know if it is because of the slow internet connection, or if it is due to changes youtube may have placed on their sites to prevent their videos from being downloaded. Maganda sana to download these videos para Il have a copy :) Answer: search mo sa firefox site "download helper" dali lang gamitin  Answer: TLRC used to have fiberglass making course. Answer: Here's what I'm using right now: http://keepvid.com/ Just copy/paste. hey! Its working man! Parang I tried this before and it didnt work... pero it's working now :) Thanks man :) Answer: if you want the whole video compilation of polymer prodts inc, it is available sa store nila for about P400. pero the lectures done by "go fast fiberglass" shown in you tube have better styles. Answer: if you want the whole video compilation of polymer prodts inc, it is available sa store nila for about P400. pero the lectures done by "go fast fiberglass" shown in you tube have better styles. na view ko yung you tube file ng polymers, very interesting talagang malamang ang process. ang tanong ko lang hinde ba ito health hazard kung sa bahay ka gagawa? kasi yung mga chemical na gamit eh parang susunugin ang baga mo. Answer: maamoy lang ito pagmali ang timpla...overreaction ng polymers. otherwise the smell is tolerable. the materials/chemicals also have short life (2-3months) storage lang so you don't overstock on these unless gagamitin mo na agad. Answer: i see. so hinde rin tutuo na pwede ka daw magka cancer for inhaling the fibers ? anyways matanong ko lang kayo sir, nagtuturo din ba kayo nito? ang dami niyo kasing alam eh  thanks. Answer: correction...pede kang magkalung cancer for inhaling the fibers. the fibers are made of glass and once it logs into your lungs it can not be removed. use the proper facility and mask when cutting and grinding these materials. I just did a demo/basic lecture (last saturday) sa mga kakilala ko sa TR3 (a forum ng toyota enthusiast in region 3)...pero i did this demo sa bahay ... in angeles city. if you have watched the demo above and a few more in you tube done by GO FAST Fiberglass... you already have a 90-95% grasp of what to do or what you need to know. A few details left would be: 1) What equipment to use - a clear disposable plastic & popsicle stick as stirer, a brush (yung gawa sa balahibo and not plastic fiber) 2) Para mare-use mo yung brush, always immerse it in lacquer thinner after use. Para hindi ito manigas. 3) Determine the right polymer premix to use that fits what you want to produce. 4) 1:3 ang general rule of thumb sa fiberglass:polymer resin. So if you will need 1kg of fiberglass for your product, you will use about 3kg of resin. The cost per kilo of fiberglass is about P120-130 and resin ganun din. 5) Different fiberglass have different densities. A typical fiberglass mat is about 300grams per square meter area. So if you know the surface area of your product, you will roughly know how much fiberglass and resin do you need. 6) If you over mix the hardener of the resin, it will produce the bad smell and will be very hot (after about 10-15mins after mixing). Follow the instructions of use - 1-2% lang ang hardener ng resin. 7) ALL fiberglass product is first layered by a GELCOAT. A gelcoat is a bit different than a standard premix polyester resin... but it adds beauty sa finish product. Iba rin ang mixing directions nito before use. 8) GELCOAT must be layed one time (so if big surface it would be best to use the spray gun as demo sa "Go Fast". Ang fiberglass laying and resin naman pedend bit by bit. 9) Mix only what you can do in 5-10 minutes because each (gelcoat and resin) will only have certain "open" working time. After that, magseset na ito at difficult na gamitin kasi sticky. Those basic info above will be about 3% more knowledge. Maghands on ka na, to learn the rest on experience. HTH Answer: sir, ok itong mga additional informations niyo. parang icing on the cake na lang pala pag nag enrol pa ako sa seminar ng polymers kasi the videos plus your add ons eh yun na ang mga detalye  maraming salamat ulet for sharing your knowledge sir. since sinabi mo na mabilis ang shelf life nito, dapat ko munang isipin kung anu ang magiging 1st project ko. anu ba ang magandang pag practisan? thank ulet sir wildthing  Answer: start with anything small muna.... kick panel ng speaker ng car perhaps, Yung seminar ng Polymer Product is SULIT din naman... kasi hindi lang naman plain fiberglass laying and production ang topic dun. If you have the time and money, go for it. Copyright ? 2006 - 2008 www.TendCar.com
